- Insects such as roaches and can be a huge problem throughout your home, but often go undetected for a long time.
- The cockroach has a life cycle consisting of three distinct stages: egg, nymph, and adult. The specific elements of the life cycle vary according to species, however. The female can lay 5-30 egg sacs containing 14-40 eggs, which can make them difficult to get rid of once they have entered your home.
- Cockroaches common to New Zealand are nocturnal and omnivore feeders, and can transmit diseases and bacteria pathogens such as salmonella. In addition, they can cause skin irritations, allergic reactions and even asthma!
Spider Control
- We have about 2000 different spider species in New Zealand. While most of them are not dangerous to humans, there are 3 species of spiders in New Zealand that should be avoided — the Redback, the Katipo and the White-tailed Spider.

- Ants exist in colonies which can range from 100 ants to over 100 thousand in number.
